OneNote is the way my students who struggle with getting the ideas out of their head and onto the page. OneNote allows students to dictate what they are thinking about. This year in year 6 students are writing biographies on people who have made an impact in the world. My students who are low writers have been able to pass this assessment because they spoke into the computer and it typed what they said, then using their editing skills they made corrections with grammar and punctuation. OneNote is also fantastic at allowing students to work collaboratively. The teacher creates group folders and assigns students to their groups. The students are able to work together without being together. This has supported my students with distance education and when one student wants to add to their group's work they can do that at any time.
